The Ut unum sint series was created by the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity in cooperation with the Libreria Editrice Vaticana, in order to disseminate ecumenical essays and documents, so as to promote mutual knowledge, theological reflection and rapprochement among Christians.

30TH Anniversary of the Common Christological Declaration
On 11 November 1994, Pope John Paul II and Catholicos-Patriarch Mar Dinkha IV, on behalf of the Catholic Church and the Assyrian Church of the East, signed a historic Common Christological Declaration, putting an end to a 1,500-year-old doctrinal controversy concerning the Council of Ephesus.
On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of this landmark declaration, this commemorative volume brings together the documents of the rapprochement between the Catholic Church and the Assyrian Church of the East: speeches delivered during the visits, joint declarations, documents of agreement and communiqués of the Joint Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Assyrian Church of the East, messages exchanged on various occasions.
