Theology students from Sant’Anselmo visit DPCU

On 23 May 2025, Benedictines from the United States of America, Germany and Austria, currently studying at the Pontifical Athenaeum of Sant’Anselmo, visited the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity (DPCU).

Father Dr Augustinus Sander OSB, official of the DPCU, provided an overview of the Dicastery’s origins in the context of the Second Vatican Council and its current focus within ecumenical dialogue. He also highlighted the ecumenical potential of the Rule of St Benedict.
