DPCU at the Philippines' First National Ecumenical Conference

On 11 June, Msgr Usma Gómez, Head of the Western Section of the DPCU, participated in the First National Ecumenical Congress in the Philippines online. The event was held from 10 to 12 June at Mariapolis Peace in Tagaytay City.

Organised jointly by the Focolare Movement in the Philippines and the Commission for Ecumenism of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), the event was attended by 140 participants from ten different Christian traditions. The event’s theme was ‘Called to Unity – Grow in Mission’. Msgr Usma gave a presentation on the topic of “Synodality and Christian Unity”.
