DPUC at the meeting of the network of leaders of Missão Somos Um

On 1 February, Monsignor Usma Gómez, Head of the Western Section of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity, took part in the meeting of the International Network of Missão Somos Um Leaders. This online initiative seeks to bring together charismatic Catholics and Pentecostal Evangelicals to pray and reflect on unity in light of the 1700th anniversary of Nicaea.

The videoconference brought together participants from 12 countries, who listened to reflections by Father Marcial Maçaneiro (Brazil) and Baptist Pastor Harold Segura (Colombia-Costa Rica) on the theme of the 2025 Week of Prayer. The initiative was supported by CELAM, CHARIS Brazil, CHARIS South America, and the Bishops' Conference of Guatemala.
