In Memoriam Revd Dr Clifton Kirkpatrick

Revd Dr Clifton Kirkpatrick passed away on 18 January 2025. He served as President of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches (WARC) from 2004 to 2010. Revd Kirkpatrick was instrumental in WARC's unification with the Reformed Ecumenical Council, resulting in the current World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC). Dr Kirkpatrick was a reformed leader whose service was recognised by his own communion and by many others who had the opportunity to meet and to work with him for the widespread of the gospel values. The Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity wishes to express its nearness to the Kirkpatrick family and to the brothers and sisters of the WCRC whom remember him as a servant of unity and justice.
