Lutherans from Germany and Finland visit DPCU

On 12 September 2024, the Reverend Harald W. Losch, Pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria and Elder of the Southern Regional Convention of the Evangelical Lutheran Prayer Brotherhood, and the Reverend Pastor Sebastian Grünbaum from Finland visited the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity (DPCU).

Pastor Grünbaum holds the Martin Chemnitz Scholarship and lives as an ecumenical fellow in the Pontificio Collegio Teutonico. He is writing a doctoral thesis on the reception of the Council of Trent in contemporary Lutheranism.

Father Dr Augustinus Sander OSB, Official of the DPCU, responsible for relations with the Lutherans, gave an insight into the work of the DPCU.
