Meeting of the Board of Management of the Catholic Committee for Cultural Collaboration

The Board of Management of the Catholic Committee for Cultural Collaboration held its annual meeting on 12 January 2019 at Castiglione del Lago as guests of His Eminence Cardinal Gualtiero Bassetti, Archbishop of Perugia–Città della Pieve.

After an overview of the ecumenical situation by His Eminence Cardinal Kurt Koch, President of the Board of Management, the 2017–2018 Financial Report was presented by Bishop Brian Farrell, Secretary of the Pontifical Council. The members of the Board then discussed the funding for the scholarships and special projects of the Committee.

In the afternoon, the Board was received by the Mayor of Castiglione del Lago at the Municipal Hall. The Board members also attended Mass in the parish church, during which Cardinal Koch gave the homily.

In attendance were: Cardinal Gualtiero Bassetti, Archbishop of Perugia–Città della Pieve; Revd Marc Taillard, Official of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches; Mr Carl Hétu, National Director of CNEWA Canada; Fratel Lino Breda, Bose Monastic Community; Revd Martin M. Barta, Ecclesiastical Assistant of Aid to the Church in Need – Germany; Dr Peter Humeniuk, Head of Eastern Europe Section II of Aid to the Church in Need; Msgr Dr Klaus Krämer, President of Missio; Revd Dr Christian Hartl, Executive Director of Renovabis.
