A new ecumenical series of the Libreria Editrice Vaticana presented at the Frankfurt Book Fair

The Libreria Editrice Vaticana (LEV), the Vatican’s  publishing house, will be presenting at the Frankfurt International Book Fair its new series “Scambio dei doni”  (“Exchange of Gifts”) dedicated to the ecumenical pursuit, with texts and speeches by the Pope presented by representatives of the Churches and Ecclesial Communities in dialogue with the Catholic Church. The series responds to Pope Francis’ invitation to engage with conviction and creativity in the ecumenical dialogue, and also focuses on how ecumenism can foster reflection and common action by Christians on themes fundamental to human life.  An ecumenical dimension is also discernible in two other new publications of the LEV, “Nostra Madre Terra” (“Our Mother Earth”) with a prologue by the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I, and “La preghiera” (“Prayer”) with a preface by Patriarch Kirill of the Moscow Patriarchate.

The LEV’s catalogue also includes the “Information Service”, the annual publication of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity.
