Creation, nature and grace. An ecumenical conference with Reformed and Catholic theologians

On 28 and 29 April, an international ecumenical conference entitled 'Creation, Nature and Grace: Catholics and Reformed in Dialogue' was hosted by the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome. 

Both Reformed and Catholic theologians addressed each of the following topics: "What is Creation and How Do We Know About It?", "Original Righteousness, Nature and Grace before the Fall", "Image of God and the Effects of Sin", "Christ the Fulfillment of Creation: How So?", "Created Mediations: Is the Church a Part of Creation?", and "Eschatology as First Philosophy: What Ends for Creation?".

Speakers included Simon Oliver (Durham University, UK), John Bowlin (Princeton Theological Seminary, USA), Michael Allen (Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando, USA), Oliver Crisp (University of St. Andrews, UK), Keith Johnson (Wheaton College, USA), and Bruce McCormack (Princeton Theological Seminary, USA).

On 29 April, Revd Fr. Hyacinthe Destivelle, DPCU Official, gave a presentation on "Is the Church a Part of Creation?".
