Tillard Chair on Synodality: Lecture of Reverend Dr Martin Junge, General Secretary of Lutheran World Federation

On Friday 25 June 2021, Reverend Dr Martin Junge, General Secretary of the Lutheran World Federation, will deliver the fifth lecture in the cycle of public lectures of the 2021 Tillard Chair dedicated to the theme of synodality.

The lecture entitled “Synodality and Christian Unity: A Lutheran Perspective” will take place in the Minor Hall of the Angelicum from 5.30–7.00 pm, and will also be transmitted in direct streaming accessible here.

The cycle of lectures of the 2021 Tillard Chair on the theme “Walking Together. Synodality and Christian Unity” is jointly organized by the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity and the Institute of Ecumenical Studies of the Angelicum.

The "Tillard Chair" dedicated to ecumenism was inaugurated in 2003 by Cardinal Walter Kasper at the Angelicum in honour of the renowned theologian and ecumenist, Jean-Marie Tillard, OP (1927-2000).
