Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church

The Coordinating Committee of the Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church met from 13-17 November 2018 at the Bose Monastery (Italy). The Committee, co-chaired by Cardinal Kurt Koch, President of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, and Archbishop Job of Telmessos, of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, examined a draft text entitled "Primacy and Synodality in the Second Millennium and Today", prepared by a joint sub-commission. As stated in its communiqué, the Committee will evaluate a revised version of the project during its next meeting, scheduled for November 2019.

On the occasion of the meeting, Cardinal Kurt Koch delivered a homily during the Eucharistic celebration held on 15 November at the Bose Monastery.
