Visit of Orthodox Professors and Seminarians from North Macedonia to the DPCU

On 22 May 2023, a group of professors and students from St. Clement's Seminary in Ohrid of the Orthodox Church of North Macedonia, led by Prof. Momčilo Pavlović, were received at the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity (DPCU). 

Revd Jaromir Zadrapa, DPUC official in charge of relations with the Orthodox Churches of the Slavic Tradition, informed the guests about the history and activities of the DPUC. In a subsequent dialogue with the Secretary, H.E. Msgr. Brian Farrell, aspects of collaboration between the Catholic and Orthodox Churches were discussed.

The group made a pilgrimage to Rome on the occasion of the feast of Saints Cyril and Methodius, the liturgical celebration of which will take place in St. Clement's Basilica on Wednesday, May 24.
