Meeting of the International Catholic-Jewish Liaison Committee

The 24th meeting of the International Catholic-Jewish Liaison Committee (ILC) was held in Rome from 13-16 May 2019 on the theme “People, Ideas and Boundaries on the Move”. The meeting was hosted by the Italian Bishops’ Conference and the Holy See’s Commission for Religious Relations with the Jews, and included participants from around the world. Cardinal Kurt Koch addressed participants at the opening ceremony on 13 May. On 15 May the participants met with Pope Francis, who delivered a short address. A Joint Declaration was issued at the conclusion of the meeting.
