Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church

The Coordinating Committee of the Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church met from 11–15 November 2019 at the Bose Monastery (Italy) under the co–presidency of Cardinal Kurt Koch, President of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, and Archbishop Job of Telmessos, Permanent Representative of the Ecumenical Patriarchate at the World Council of Churches. The members reflected on a revised draft of the document entitled “Primacy and Synodality in the Second Millennium and Today”. In its communiqué the Committee has envisaged that a further meeting will be convened in 2020.

On the occasion of the meeting, Cardinal Kurt Koch delivered a homily during the Eucharistic celebration held on 13 November at the Bose Monastery.
