Visit of a delegation of the Protestant Federation of France

17 Jun 2019

On Friday, 14 June 2019, Cardinal Kurt Koch and Bishop Brian Farrell received at the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity a delegation of the Protestant Federation of France comprising Pastor François Clavairoly, President, Pastor Anne–Laure Danet, responsible for relations with the Christian Churches, Professor Corinne Lanoir, the Protestant Faculty of Paris, and Aude Millet–Lopez, responsible for communication. The delegation was accompanied by Pastor Eugenio Bernardini, Moderator of the Waldensian Table.

The meeting was an opportunity to exchange views on the current ecumenical situation, and more particularly on the theological dialogue between the Catholic Church and the various Protestant traditions.

The Protestant Federation of France gathers about 30 church unions (Lutheran, Reformed, Evangelical, Baptist, Pentecostal) and more than 80 associations, representing about 500 communities, institutions, entities and movements.
