In memoriam Jean Vanier

The Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity is saddened by the death on 7 May of Jean Vanier, the founder of L'Arche, with whom it has longstanding ties of friendship. Cardinal Kurt Koch, President of the Pontifical Council, sent a letter of condolence to L'Arche's international leaders, Stephan Posner and Stacy Cates Carney.
