Message from Pope Francis to the 4th Global Gathering of the Global Christian Forum

On Thursday, April 18, 2024, during the solemn dinner commemorating the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Global Christian Forum, Archbishop Flavio Pace, Secretary of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity and leader of the Catholic Delegation, conveyed a message to the participants from His Holiness Pope Francis.

Commending the GCF for its significant role in fostering fraternal communion among Christians of diverse historical backgrounds, Holy Father  expressed his hope that the current gathering would serve as a space for cultivating mutual respect and revitalising brotherly love. Through his words of greeting, the Holy Father offered his support to the work of the Global Christian Forum and invoked the blessings of Almighty God upon the fruitful outcomes of the Gathering.
