Pope Francis receives Frère Matthew of Taizé

On Monday 18 March, the Holy Father received in private audience the new Prior of Taizé, Frère Matthew, and some members of the Community.

The meeting was an opportunity to recall the ecumenical prayer vigil "Together. Gathering of the People of God" held on 30 September 2023 in St Peter's Square, the result of a proposal by the Taizé Community.

On Wednesday 20 March, Frère Matthew met with Cardinal Kurt Koch at the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity.
