Theological symposium in honour of Cardinal Koch

From 6 to 8 March, a symposium in honour of Cardinal Kurt Koch was held at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) and the Pontifical Gregorian University.

The symposium, entitled "Unity and Uniqueness. Ecclesiological Concretions in Ecumenical Perspective', paid tribute to the constant scientific and theological work of the Prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity, examining various aspects of the realisation of the 'one and only Church' (LG 23) within a broad theological horizon.

The symposium was organised by the Römisches Institut der Görres-Gesellschaft, the Angelicum Institute for Ecumenical Studies "Œcumenicum", and the Faculty of Theologians of the Gregorian University.

It is planned to publish a volume of the conference, which will then be presented on Cardinal Koch's 75th birthday in 2025.
