Archbishop Vanags from Latvia visits DPCU

On 5 March 2024, Cardinal Kurt Koch, Prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity (DPCU), received the Archbishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia, Jānis Vanags D.D., for an ecumenical-theological exchange.

The meeting was also attended by Kirchenrat Andris Kraulins, personal assistant to the Archbishop, and Father Dr Augustinus Sander OSB, DPCU staff member responsible for relations with the Lutherans.
