Visit from Metropolitan Antonij of Volokolamsk to the Vatican

On 15 and 16 June, Metropolitan Antonij of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Department for External Ecclesiastical Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, made a work visit to the Vatican.

On Thursday, 15 June, the Metropolitan met with H.E. Msgr Paul Gallagher, Secretary for Relations with States.

On Friday, 16 June, he had private talks with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State, and later was received in private audience by His Holiness Pope Francis.

The previous visit of Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk to the Vatican took place on 2-3 May 2023.
