The Holy Spirit will bring unity

"Spiritual ecumenism is the soul of the ecumenical movement" (cf. Unitatis redintegratio, 8).

The Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity (DPCU) wishes to express its closeness to all those who are celebrating the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity at Pentecost on the theme "Do good, seek justice" (Isaiah 1:17).

While giving thanks for the gifts that the Holy Spirit bestows on his Church, the DPCU calls upon the Most High to protect all Christians who will pray together, for one another and with one another during this time.
