Prefect of the Dicastery meets Bishop Andrej of the Serbian Orthodox Church

On Wednesday, April 26, Cardinal Kurt Koch, Prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity, met with His Grace Andrej (Ćilerdžić), Bishop of Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Malta of the Serbian Orthodox Church, together with Archpriest Roman Fischer, Head of the Serbian Orthodox Community in Rome.

The meeting focused on the relationship between the Catholic Church and the Serbian Orthodox Church in Europe and Serbia, where Cardinal Koch made a visit in November 2022.  At the end of the meeting, an exchange of gifts took place.

Jaromír Zádrapa, an official of the Eastern Section of the DPUC, who is responsible for relations with the Slavic Orthodox Churches, also participated in the meeting.
