“Listening to the West”: Synodality according to Free Churches

Following the symposiums “Listening to the East” on synodality according to Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox Churches, and the symposium Listening to the West on synodality according to the Mainline Churches, the Institute for Ecumenical Studies of the Angelicum, in collaboration with the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity, is organizing a series of presentations on synodality according to Free Churches.

This series consists in online events with representatives of Free Churches. The first was held on 15 March and featured the Disciples of Christ approach.

Reverend Dr Robert Welsh, former General Secretary of the Christian Unity Commission of the Disciples of Christ was the main speaker, and Dr Julien Hammond was the Catholic listener, under the moderation of Mons. Prof. Juan Usma Gómez.
