Visit of Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Beatitude Theodoros II

On Saturday 21 January, the Holy Father Pope Francis received in private audience the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Beatitude Theodoros II. After a private conversation between Pope Francis and His Beatitude Theodoros II, the Holy Father greeted the Patriarch's delegation, composed of Metropolitan Georgios of Guinea, Metropolitan Gennadios of Botswana, Metropolitan Pantaleimon of Naukratis and Ms. Aikaterini Sofroniou. Patriarch Theodoros II and his entourage were accompanied by His Eminence Cardinal Kurt Koch, Prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity, Bishop Brian Farrell, Secretary, and Msgr Andrea Palmieri, Undersecretary.
