Pope Francis receives Metropolitan Joseph Mar Barnabas of Mar Thoma Church

On Wednesday 23 November, Pope Francis received in a private audience His Grace Joseph Mar Barnabas, Suffragan Metropolitan of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, who was accompanied by Reverend Arun Thomas Abraham.

After the audience, the delegation was received at the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity by Bishop Brian Farrell, Secretary, and Reverend Father Hyacinthe Destivelle, official responsible for relations with the Oriental Orthodox Churches.
