Presentation of Cardinal Koch on date of Easter during "Cry for Peace" meeting

Cardinal Kurt Koch, Prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity, made a presentation entitled "A Common Date for Easter?" [IT] on 24 October during the international meeting organized by the Community of Sant'Egidio at "La Nuvola" Congress Centre in Rome.

Cardinal Koch stressed that "the anniversary of the Council of Nicea, which formulated the Christological confession common to all Christians, calls us to reflect anew also on the issue of the date of Easter, and to reconsider it in today's context".
