Tillard Chair: Lecture of Archbishop Job of Telmessos on the Encyclical "Ut unum sint"

Archbishop Job of Telmessos, Representative of the Ecumenical Patriarchate at the World Council of Churches (Geneva) and Co-President of the Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church on Friday 18 December delivered the eighth lecture in the cycle of the public lectures of the 2019-2020 "Tillard Chair" dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Encyclical Ut unum sint.

The cycle of lectures of the 2019-2020 Tillard Chair on “The Encyclical Ut unum sint: Between Prophecy and Reality. 25 Years After” has been jointly organized by the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity and the Institute of Ecumenical Studies of the Angelicum.

The "Tillard Chair" dedicated to ecumenism was inaugurated in 2003 by Cardinal Walter Kasper at the Angelicum in honour of the renowned theologian and ecumenist, Jean-Marie Tillard, OP (1927-2000).
