Tillard Chair: Lecture of Brother Alois on the encylical "Ut unum sint"

Brother Alois, Prior of the Taizé Community, presented the sixth in the cycle of public lectures of the 2019-2020 "Tillard Chair" dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the encyclical Ut unum sint.

The lecture, entitled "Ut unum sint: New Horizons, New Generations", is accessible here (Italian with subtitles in French).

The cycle of lectures on “The Encyclical Ut unum sint: Between Prophecy and Reality. 25 Years After” has been jointly organized by the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity and the Institute of Ecumenical Studies of the Angelicum.

The next "Tillard Chair" lecture will be presented in direct streaming by Cardinal Kurt Koch and Professor Philippe Chenaux on Friday 4 December at 4.00 pm (link).

The “Tillard Chair” dedicated to ecumenism was inaugurated in 2003 at the Angelicum by Cardinal Walter Kasper in honour of the renowned theologian and ecumenist Jean–Marie Tillard, OP (1927–2000).
