Joint Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Assyrian Church of the East

A Plenary session of the Joint Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Assyrian Church of the East was held from 5-9 November 2018 at Domus Sanctae Marthae in the Vatican. This is the continuation of the third phase of dialogue in which participants are discussing the subjects of the Mystery of the Church and ecclesiology. The Commission co-presided by Most Reverend Johan Bonny, Bishop of Antwerp, and His Grace Mar Awa Royel, Bishop of California, issued a communiqué at the end of the meeting, indicating the coming plenary session in autumn 2019.
