CONTINUATION OF THE DIALOGUE BETWEEN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH
AND THE COMMUNION OF PROTESTANT CHURCHES IN EUROPE

From 19 to 21 April 2023 the third meeting of a dialogue between the Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity (DPCU) and the Communion of Protestant Churches in Europe (CPCE) took place in Paris. Under the leadership of Bishop Dr Bertram Meier (Augsburg) and CPCE President Dr John Bradbury (London), a commission of experts of the Catholic Church and of the Communion of the Protestant Churches in Europe are discussing the understanding of the church and church communion. The aim of the dialogue, agreed between CPCE and the DPCU in autumn 2018, is a common word on the unity, holiness, catholicity and apostolicity of the church.

The fourth meeting will take place in Augsburg in November 2023.
