Continuation of the dialogue between the Communion of Protestant Churches in Europe 
and the Catholic Church

On 3 and 4 November 2022 the second meeting of a dialogue between the Communion of Protestant Churches in Europe (CPCE) and the Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity (DPCU) took place in Augsburg. Under the leadership of Bishop Dr Bertram Meier (Augsburg) and CPCE President Dr John Bradbury (London), a Protestant-Catholic commission of experts discussed possible common ground in the understanding of the church. The aim of the dialogue, agreed between CPCE and the DPCU in autumn 2018, is a common word on the unity, holiness, catholicity and apostolicity of the church.

The third meeting will take place in Paris in April 2023.
